TEAMLTD BOOZE BRACKET - Rules & Regulations

TEAMLTD BOOZE BRACKET RULES

INTRODUCING: Season One of the TEAMLTD Booze Bracket! All episodes will be streamed on @TEAMLTD Instagram Live.

The rules are simple: eight-team single-elimination bracket challenge, but with booze.

BRACKET STRUCTURE

The eight teams are separated into four groups of two opponents, groups A, B, C and D. Seeding is done at random with no particular ranking. Each week will highlight a specific group so that the two opponents within that group will face-off in a head-to-head BLIND tasting with your lovely hosts.

RANKING

Two hosts will give each team a ranking out of 10 (written down to be displayed) along with some tasting notes and reasoning as to why they’ve assigned that ranking to each team. The points assigned by each host will then be added together and the opponent with the highest-ranking out of 20 will win that round, moving onto the next round. The opponent who receives the lower ranking will be eliminated immediately. Should there be a tie between opponents, the hosts will engage in a single round of flip-cup, one cup filled with each of the opposing beverages. Whichever team wins will continue onto the next round. Rounds will progress until the final head-to-head championship to determine the winner of the bracket.
